Orthodox Smoked White Tea
 
Crafted by artisans who call the old tree forest their home, this is our second offering made by the people who have been drinking Orthodox Smoked Black Tea from the wild tea trees. This is a rather interesting addition and we are glad to be offering this to you. This white tea was harvested in Summer 2023 and smoked traditionally using forest wood.
 
This tea has a more intense smoky taste compared to the one we already offer. The delicate flavour of the white combines beautifully with the smoky note. The dry leaf smells smoky and fruity. You can feel a distinct crunchy Indian guava and yellow flower note on the nose after the tea is rinsed. The fruity and flowery notes transfer nicely into the liquor, along with the smoky note of course. After the second steep, we feel some spicy notes as well which is common with all the wild white teas we offer. On the fruity front, there are notes of pears, phalsa(an Indian fruit) and some spicy notes like cinnamon and white pepper. The tea is rich in caffeine and energizes you well! Do try this unique wild white tea for its smoky character and thick body.

Steeping Time : 4 minutes western style, 30 seconds gongfu style adding 10 seconds every subsequent steep
Recommended Steeping Temperature : 85-90°C
Recommended Steeping Ratio : 4 grams/100ml for Gong Fu Style, 1 gram per 100 ml for western style
