Reintroducing another gem, the 2025 version of Nilgiri Candy Black Tea. We are also happy to get a fresh batch into our candy collection, we will be rebuilding it once again and adding new teas to it throught the year, if mother nature permits and blesses us with fine batches, but till then, we are sure you will enjoy this immaculate black tea.
The dry leaf smells like orange and green apple, when placed on heated ware, you get notes of cream, caramel and jaggery. As you take the first sip, you are greeted with notes of orange candy. The green apple and orange notes add a refreshing fruity acidity to the liquor. The sweet notes are of caramel and honey. There is a hint of yellow oleander as well. The creamy note resembles vanilla wafers sometimes, especially when made at higher temperatures. We prefer making this western style, its great to make a huge cup with the full spectrum of notes present. But, if you like all your teas gong fu style, this will be very enjoyable as well! In addition to that, we always travel with this or the Nilgiri Honey Black Tea, it is so hard to brew it wrong and brews incredibly well even grandpa style(just leaves in a hot water cup).
