Elated to launch our first green tea of 2024, the Nilgiri Monsoon Green Tea. We were looking for a batch like this, full of fruity notes, especially mangoes and this is the one! We were sure Nilgiri will offer something spectacular in line with our expectations and it delivered like the trusted green tea heaven it is. This comes from the same estate which makes our Winter Frost Green tea among many others and is located at Coonoor, Nilgiris. Of course it comes from the top secret facility inside the estate!

The dry leaf has notes of mango, mango sugar candy and cucumber. When placed on the heated ware, you can enjoy notes of lemon, mango leather, cucumber and is slightly creamy as well. From the first infusion, you get to experience the thick liquor and it coats your mouth generously. The liquor has notes of cream and mango on the first sip. As you sip further, you can enjoy some more fruity notes of pears and green apple. The armenian cucumber freshness presents itself as the tea cools down. We cannot even express how long the aftertaste is, it is extremely sweet and refreshing with notes of custard apple and raw mangoes. As you keep sipping this tea, it just compounds on the sweet and fruity notes and the aftertaste too keeps on getting more enjoyable. After four years of offering some impeccable batches, Nilgiri greens still awe us with their deliciousness and we're proud to offer yet another gem from the region!
