Presenting our second aged Sikkim tea, from spring 2018 harvest, the beautiful Sikkim Aged Oolong. We had set aside a significant chunk from this batch for ageing and are happy to offer it to you in 2024. Made at the Bermiok Tea Estate, this was our second batch from them and it has been a delicious journey afterwards!
The dry leaf smells like dried flowers and wood, when placed on a heated teaware, you can notice the aroma of wood and marigold flowers. On your first sip, you are greeted with notes of chrysanthemum and wood. There is a hint of orange and that adds to the sweetness of the liquor. As the tea cools down, you can enjoy fruity notes of green apple along with marigold and chrysanthemum. There is a hint of dried peppermint and cloves as well. The dried flower taste this tea has to offer now is spectacular and refreshes your mind on the first sip. We hope you enjoy this aged tea as much as us!
